Lamp base is 13 wide x 9.5 deep x 2 inches thick. Light is 74 inches tall. Base is made of Museum Grade Aniegre wood from equatorial West Africa. Black on wood base is created using Japanese Shou-sugi-ban burning technique. Structure of light is made with brass tubing and jeweler’s brass sheet. Lamp diffusion is made up of two parts: 4 paper panels of Uda-gami Japanese paper with block printed white ink circles, and 3 fabric panels of a rare hand loomed Pineapple/Silk Fiber from the Philippines. Indigo dye and kimono silk thread are used to create the fabric panels. Base has 5 small brass figures.
