Lamp base is 8.5 wide x 9 2/8 deep x 1 7/8 inches thick. Light is 22 inches tall. Base is made of Museum Grade Aniegre wood from equatorial West Africa. Black on side of wood base is created using Japanese Shou-sugi-ban burning technique. Structure of light is made with brass tubing and jeweler’s brass sheet. Lamp diffusion is made up of two parts. 4 paper panels of Uda-gami Japanese paper and 2 fabric panels of a rare hand loomed Pineapple/Silk Fiber from the Philippines, sewn with light blue kimono silk thread.
